Warren Schoenbright unveiled the noise of "Christquake"

Two-piece industrial project Warren Schoenbright released "Christquake"!

Warren Schoenbright brings inferno, howling their experimental noise industrial sounds from the the flames of hell. Inspired by Dante's Inferno. "Christquake" needs only 2 minutes to get you into the distorted world of the UK based duo.

"Christquake" sounds like someone is about to face the worst nightmare in a depressive way. without being able to react. The slow distorted guitars and mourning dark beats are mixed in an intense way with the vocals.

"Christquake" is taken out of the upcoming full length album of Warren Schoenbright, "Sunless", coming out on March 15th, via Human Worth, a UK charitable label showcasing incredible artists with a portion of all proceeds donated to help support those in crisis and bands paid fairly!

"‘Christquake’ by Warren Schoenbright takes as its inspiration the ruination of "The Harrowing of Hell" and Christ's entry to into the underworld on Easter Sunday. The aftermath of this monumental event is recounted by Virgil to Alighieri in Dante's Inferno. Virgil speaks of a "tremor in every part” that “disturbed these fetid depths..." As Christ appeared in Hell, a divine power wreaked havoc in lower hell causing earthquakes and landslides.

The vast fissures and scars on this landscape of suffering are still visible to Dante as he charts his descent into chaos. Christquake exhibits the redemptive power of aggression and transgression and posits the notion that catharsis and violence can coexist in this scorched and hellish limbo. As Alighieri refers to the chasms and remnants of the Christquake in Rottenpockets in Canto 21, this track is a “marvel of mere dark”.

New album 'Sunless' was forged in the fires of hell and recorded at London’s Holy Mountain Studios by Stan Gravette, Warren Schoenbright’s sound was fine tuned to shimmer and shriek by Misha Hering at Hollow Earth, with Frédéric Alstadt adding the mastering final touch. This thunderous offering would certainly be playing in the express elevator to hell.

Human Worth have pressed up a super limited edition of 'Sunless' Black Vinyl housed in a gorgeous package designed by Alex Virji with a double-sided insert featuring the photography of Daniel Keys. 10% of all sales proceeds will be donated to charity Mind, promoting positive mental health and wellbeing and providing help and support to those who need it most."
