Platronic release their new dark pop single, "Calling (Mitten In Der Nacht)"!

Platronic return, a while since their last release, with a great new single, which introduces various new elements for the duo. Following more haunting tones and adding more power in their electro style, Kay and Sami deliver a powerful, dark, electro pop, adopting even EBM techniues and guitar base electro rock, perfectly combined with the dreamy synth pop chorus!

"Calling (Mitten In Der Nacht)" is a dark pop song that stands in the boundaries of gritty sound and the dreamy lines of Platronic, delivering a chilling and atmospheric experience. The instrumentation and vocals capture a sense of melancholy and mystery from the first note. After all "Calling (Mitten In Der Nacht)" is about the ghosts from the past that still haunt this woman. Platronic have adopted subtle electronic elements, seamlessly blending with organic instrumentation and the well suited guitar riffs.

The chorus shows the dreamy side of the duo keeping the melancholic tone and the intense feeling that prevails throughout the single, like the melody that it carries an underlying sense of melancholy that adds depth to the pop structure.

In the damn cold Finnish winter of 2023, a mysterious woman from Germany visited him in his studio. 

She told him about her ghosts from the past that still haunt her. They were CALLING her name MITTEN IN DER NACHT. In the middle of the night the magic happened and at the break of dawn, a new song was born... "Calling - Mitten in der Nacht"

Kay and Sami aka Platronic forwarded the track to a very talented musician and friend from Hungary. Just to get some feedback. But they got so much more... Tamás composed and added a fantastic guitar solo and riff!"

Platronic formed back in 2020, on International EBM day, when Finnish composer/producer Some-E and German singer-songwriter and co-producer Kay Burden (“3rd best female artist 2019”, Radio Wigwam Awards, UK) decided to turn their love to music into a sinfully elegant dreampop project with deeper meaning spiced up with danceable electronic beats and topped with velvety female vocals.
