New music video for "Tales of Despair ( Zus Remix)"!

Following their success of their two chapter release, "PASSIVE", "AGGRESSIVE", the Parisian post-punk trio re-issued both albums, along with a remixed bonus collection of the original tracks. "AGGRESSIVE" 's re-issue is out since June 2024 including the remix bonus, "AGGRESSION"  in which Je T'Aime entrusted the remix of the album to Zus. The result is ten incandescent tracks on which Zus says: "I've reshaped the music of JE T'AIME once again, this time with a lot of distortion and trying to (over)drive the energy of the original songs with natural influences such as Nine Inch Nails, Killing Joke, Ministry and so on."

On August 14th, the new official music video for "Tales Of Despair (Zus Remix)" came out on a striking creation co-directed by Quentin Caffier and Anaïs Novembre. The clip features the remix by the French artist Zus of the song "Tales Of Despair" from their augmented album "AGGRESSIVE+AGGRESSION".

In this visual universe, the three members of the band appear in still shots, their screams and shrieks captured in slow motion, against a vibrant backdrop of flashy, epileptic light. The bright colours create an electric, immersive atmosphere, reminiscent of the aesthetics of industrial music. The video is a sensory explosion, fusing the raw energy and emotional intensity of JE T'AIME with striking visuals.

Anais Novembre comments on the new video: "While Quentin's first video highlights and moves the beauty and sadness of a couple's relationship, this one tells of cold anger, silent frustration and muted pain, the kind that buzzes inside us and gnaws at us in silence."

"AGGRESSIVE+AGGRESSION" is the final augmented part of a trilogy started by the eponymous album of the band JE T’AIME. It is also the album awaited by the band’s fanbase as either a confirmation of their talent, or as their fall as a short-lived phenomemon. "We follow the evolution of the same antihero, whom we had left in bad shape in the previous album. But is he all that fictional tough?" He appears to look more and more like a common avatar of the 3 musicians. The tone hardens, the atmosphere becomes more melancholic, and the lyrics embrace bitterness and anger.
