Disrupted Being - Deeper, electrified dark pop

Disrupted Being returns with the new single, "Deeper"!

Disrupted Being, hailing from Copenhagen, Denmark are back with their infectious, addictive, electrified synth pop that dives into the dark synth elements and the close-to-EBM bass lines. The duo, consisting of Morten Kristensen and Peter Wammen released their all-new single, "Deeper", two years after their last release, "Sailor".

"Deeper" is a beautiful blend of dark electronic elements and synth pop sensibilities, skillfully crafted. The track opens with a pulsating bass and synth line and hypnotic arpeggios, immediately drawing the listener into its moody sonic imagery. Balancing between the old school electro pop elements and the modern synth, dark and EBM techniques, Disrupted Being delivers a single that intrigues the listener and he is, finally, drifted away into an electrified journey guided by the beautiful rhythm and vocals.

Vocals delivers a performance that is equal parts haunting and seductive, being emotive and raw sentiment. The overall sound of "Deeper" leaves a lasting impression and a rough energy transforming it into a catchy melody. A really good dark electro pop song that makes the return of Disrupted Being really successful leaving emotions of nostalgia, dark romance and analogue desire.

Disrupted Being met back in 1988 in the local train, sitting opposite each other. Suddenly, Morten spotted a Depeche Mode badge on Peter’s coat. That got the talking started, and soon they became friends due to the shared love of New Wave and synthpop music, and the fact that both had recently acquired synths.

They have a deep love for both new and vintage analogue synths, but they also embrace all other sound-generating devices (electronic or not). Many fans of 80’s synth music will recognize inspiration in their music from both Jean Michel Jarre, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Kraftwerk, Simple Minds and Ultravox. In fact, one of Morten’s newly acquired synths is the ARP Odyssey, also known as a favorite of Ultravox’s Billy Currie.

Now, Peter and Morten are back for real – as Disrupted Being. Reunited, revitalized and reborn. Their desire is to feed your mind and move your feet with a blend of old school synth and new romantic synth-based music with a contemporary feel and an undefinable, undeniable Disrupted Being twist.
