When we talk about dark electro, industrial techno, Chainreactor is definitely one of the names that pops up.

Jens Minor from Düsseldorf is back with a new digital EP titled “Melting Point X1”, released on August 28th via ProNoize. And I warn you, if you are expecting soft synths or commercial electronics, you better look somewhere else. “Melting Point X1” goes straight back to the roots!

“Melting Point X1” lands three brand-new tracks, "Permagna", "Maybe, Maybe not" and "S!ck Mode" that show the old, raw, dirty face of industrial music. No unnecessary elements, no commercial pop lines, just pure, hard-hitting beats and sounds made for dark dancefloors. From the first second to the last, the beats are heavy, the taste is metallic, and the atmosphere is completely aggressive.

For me, this EP is exactly what the industrial techno needs. There are projects which try to sound too clean. Chainreactor keeps it dirty and raw. It is a reminder why dark dancefloors are made for and why we liked this music many years ago. Play it loud on your speakers, and let the industrial ambience into you! Highly recommended for the dark electro and industrial fan whou used to dance all night on heavy beats.
